Event Planner/Deputy Clerk

Stacie L. Gory began working with the Town of Rutherford College on July 5, 2016. She has an Associates Degree in Baking and Pastry Arts and a Bachelors Degree in Food Service Management from Johnson and Wales University. Stacie will be the main contact for Event Planning and Social Media Management. She will also be assisting in the Utility and Tax Departments. In January 2018, Stacie was appointed to Deputy Town Clerk. 

Event Planner/Deputy Clerk Duties:
  • Record and edit the minutes of Planning Board meetings
  • Plan and direct the maintenance, filing, safekeeping, and computerization of municipal documents
  • Issue public notification of all official activities and meetings
  • Prepare Planning Board meeting agendas and packets of related information
  • Represent the municipality at community events and serve as liaisons on community committees
  • Event coordinator for all town-sponsored events
  • Maintain Town website and Facebook page
  • Create and distribute the Town newsletter
